Roasted Vegetables With Pinecone Syrup

Ingredients:
-2 large broccoli crowns
-A large bunch or 2 small bunches of asparagus
-Salt
-Black Pepper
-Olive Oil
-3 Norwegian Spruce Cones
-1/4c of pinecone syrup
Cut up broccoli crowns into bite sized pieces and snip off the woody bottom of the asparagus spears.
Place vegetables on a baking tray and season liberally with salt, black pepper and Olive Oil.
Place the three pinecones in the center of the tray.
Pour the pinecone syrup over the top of the vegetables equally.
Roast vegetables in yhe oven for at least 25 minutes at 425 degrees F or until they reach your desired level of brown.
These can be served hot or cold and they are excellent both ways.
